DIY Natural Shampoo Recipe

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup water (distilled preferred)
  • 1/2 cup castile soap
  • 1 tablespoon jojoba oil
  • 10 drops of essential oils
  • For Dry Hair, Add:
  • 1/2 cup aloe vera
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable glycerine

Easy steps!

  1. Add all ingredients to a bottle.
  2. Put the top on and shake until well combined.
  3. Use as you would normal shampoo.

*This shampoo is slightly runny, but does lather very well, and does not contain harsh chemicals such as sodium laurel sulfate or artificial fragrances. One reader even suggested using it as a shaving cream. Simply lather on your legs and shave.
