How to build muscle with fasting is a great topic because many people say that it is impossible. You can in fact build lean muscle while fasting you just have to use the right strategies to do so. I have used these strategies for almost 10 years and it has worked effectively for myself and the people I have trained on this method. Intermittent fasting and muscle building can occur at the same time, it’s just strategy specific.
Intermittent fasting and muscle gain has been proven in studies. It is important to feed your muscles correctly in order to get the results and of course work hard in the gym. I personally use a pre-workout and also an essential amino acid in order to get the results I want to see. I start consuming the pre-workout about 30 minutes prior to the workout and then consume the essential amino acids right after. I believe this is an important part of the muscle building strategy.
Intermittent fasting and muscle growth also depends on you eating after the workout in order to stimulate the protein kinase mTOR. I also recommend that you portion your carbs after your workout in order to get the best results. The last thing I want to mention is that it is so crucial to consume enough calories for this method to be effective.
The best part of this whole method is that you are building lean muscle that will help you look tone and have a great body.
